Capiozzo & Mecco tornano dopo l'album "Whisky a Go Go" (Irma records 2003), che vedeva già al suo interno tra i vari ospiti il chitarrista Daniele Santimone e la voce di Mario Biondi.
Il trio composto da Christian Capiozzo batteria, Mecco Guidi organo e tastiere, Daniele Santimone chitarra, vanta collaborazioni con artisti internazionali per il sound riconoscibile e l'affiatamento che li porta ad abbracciare vari stili musicali con grande personalità.
Tra i tanti ricordiamo Jimmy Owens, storico trombettista americano, che li ha scelti in pianta stabile per accompagnarlo in vari tour e nella realizzazione dell'album "Peaceful Walking".
Molte tracce di "Whisky a go go" sono state utilizzate per sonorizzazioni e sigle di programmi televisivi e telefilm, tra i quali Sex & the City.
Il trio dopo essersi esibito in importanti festival e club, da Novokuzniech in Siberia fino allo storico Blue Note di New York torna con un nuovo album "Movie Soundtrack Experience" , un album registrato interamente in analogico composto da 10 tracce originali, una miscela di Soul, Funk e Jazz.
Il titolo evoca il desiderio di comporre brani ispirandosi alla musica da film, che ha influenzato il back ground di molte generazioni, omaggiando grandi compositori che fanno ormai parte della storia della musica da cinema.
L'album vede al suo interno vari ospiti ed introduce un nuovo "Experiment" del gruppo che lo proietta in un viaggio musicale con una consapevolezza ed esperienza maggiore.
"Il trio viene visto come l'unica realtà Italiana a districarsi nel loro genere e viene affiancato a grandi gruppi come Medesky Martin & Wood o Larry Golding Trio."

Capiozzo & Mecco come back with a new release after their "Whisky a go go " album ( Irma records 2003) which featured among the others guitarist Daniele Santimone and vocalist Mario Biondi.
The trio with Christian "Chicco" Capiozzo on drums, Mecco Guidi on organ and Daniele Santimone on guitar has been working with internationally renowned artists thanks to its very recognizable sound and interplay which allow the unit to embrace a veriety of music styles with great personality.
Among the several international artist the band has been collaborating with we'd like to mention historic american jazz trumpeter Jimmy Owens who chose the trio as a steady rhythm section both in live performances and in the studio for the recording of the cd " Peaceful Walking".
Many tracks from " Whisky a Go Go" have been used as soundtracks for TV shows most notably " Sex & the City".
After a busy live activity appearing at clubs and festivals around the world (Siberia's Novokuzniezch jazz festival, the Blue Note in New York city) the trio comes back with a new release " Movie Soundtrack Experience".
The album has been recorded with vintage analog equipment and contains 10 original tracks mixing Soul, Funk and Jazz.
The title evokes the desire to compose songs inspired by movie soundtracks which have influenced the background of many generations and to pay homage to great composers belonging to the history of Film music.
The album features a variety of musicians and introduces a new " experiment" by the band which takes Capiozzo, Mecco & Santimone on a new musical journey which finds them endowed with greater awareness and experience.
